In the Samarpan Nepal Family, we look after 26 children. Most of the children are poor and belong to dominated castes, (hereditary groups low down the social order), from poor families which don't make education a priority. Some are orphans or from handicapped parents.

But no matter their background, all of our children have one thing in common: they love to go to school and study.

To decide which children join the Samarpan Children Family, our executive committee looks at each individual case then draws up a priority list of those most in need of sponsorship. We examine a child's family and economic background, their willingness to go to school and their age. And the child has to be between 2 and 16 years of age.
