   Extra Tips For Volunteers: In Our Experience
The Nepalese government doesn't require you to have travel insurance or vaccinations. 50% of our volunteers come without either, the choice is yours.
   
One of our assistants will be there to meet you at the airport in Kathmandu. But if you want to visit our office by yourself, that is of course fine. Our fees does not include the flight.
   
If you want to bring items for our children, we would suggest you choose clothing first, then books and supplies. Sweets will also cheer them up.
   
If you want to know our children beforehand, you can have an email exchange with them. Email ids are available in their profiles.
   
In special circumstances, you can shorten the duration of your volunteering. But a refund will not be made and you will have to refund any extra return flight cost yourself.
   
Groups (families or friends) are welcome to join us. We can/will provide the same host for your accommodation.
   
We are located in 10 mins drive from the hospitals who also provide emergency services. Ambulances are available at all times.
